My oven floor is 3cm soapstone sitting directly on top of 2 1/2" of firebrick. I am looking forward to extended residual-heat cooking and utilizing the soapstone not only as a pizza-cooking surface, but as a coasting-oven heating element to transfer the stored heat of the firebrick layer below. Since the soapstone was an afterthought, I am thankful I originally added a 3 1/2" bottom layer of vermicrete below 2" of Insblock 19.
