hi. i have made clay/adobe ovens in uk using kiko denzers method- actually helped him on a workshop over here. build a sand mould and pack around it. what do you guys think of a sand mould to form cement shell around, could put thick plastic sheet over the damp sand. i would still use steel wire for reinforcing. this way you can really pack the cement down.
maybe this way would be good as it would slow down drying time, better curing, and when cement has gone off a bit drag out the sand for air drying then a fire for final curing. Possible?
