That's what I kept thinking about trying to do with my corner installation to enclose the wood storage area. I't hurt my head to think about building a form to match that 90 degree transition. I'm glad I didn't do it. I don't like the look of it on your pics XJ. It's cool that they can do that, but it doesn't look right - kind of like a painting hung crooked.
