| I've seen a couple of these corner arch structures and was wondering what they're called (a compound arch?) and if it could be used for an oven entry.

| That's what I kept thinking about trying to do with my corner installation to enclose the wood storage area. I't hurt my head to think about building a form to match that 90 degree transition. I'm glad I didn't do it. I don't like the look of it on your pics XJ. It's cool that they can do that, but it doesn't look right - kind of like a painting hung crooked.

| I'm still tempted to try one of these corner entry arches!

| I googled corner arch and found this. It appears that it is normal arch that cantelievers out into the corner. ![]() This makes me think the arches in the photos above are decorative in nature vs structural. I just dont see how it would add structrual stability unless something constrained it in the x-y plane. I think it looks groovy. Go for it!!! Christo
