Well, in one day we can start the new nominations for February. One of you will likely put him in there. Don't forget.

Hey,
Bugger off you mob; that's rubbish! Are you trying to get me kicked out or what?
Ssshh eh: don't let James know, or we're all in strife. C'mon fellers, let's play fair here: no guns at a knife fight, eh.

Just to show that I really am Pure'n Simple, I'll run this thread from the top. And don't any of you larrikins mess it up eh. Else the Grey Dog may visit.
Jeff the Luddite.

Half of it's not in my personal dictionary. ugh

Hard for an illiterate fellow like myself to keep up.

Thank goodness for Google.!

Larrikinism is the name given to the Australian folk tradition of irreverence, mockery of authority and disregard for rigid norms of propriety[1]. Larrikinism can also be associated with self-deprecating humour[2].

Default Understanding "Strine"

Speaking of dictionaries, I find that my already high enjoyment of Jeff's posts is enhanced by this little vocabul-aid: Australian Slang Dictionary with unique Aussie phrases and Australian Slang words.
