The French baker had a nylon stocking on his peel to stop the baguettes sticking as he put them in the oven.

That's a great idea, but just keep the stocking crutch away from the baguette.

Re: Stocking on the peel

Is it possible the presence of a stocking on the peel would help the baguettes rise?
