Steel Frame & stucco Questions

I think I'm trying to set a record for slowest installation for a Casa100 oven...

Anyway, is there a set of good pictures/plans of a gabled house enclousure in the steel framing stage? The pics in the manual are nice but they only show part of the roof complete. I'm especially interested in roof cross-bracing and how the angled roof meets the wall.

Also. I'm planning on using hardibacker & stucco on the walls. Should I make it so that the hardibacker is even with the concrete block base on the walls so that the stucco comes out even? Or does one kind of surface need a different amount of stucco/prep layer?

Re: Steel Frame & stucco Questions

stchang,

Spend some time looking through the photo gallery and searching the threads. It will give some ideas.

Several have posted photos of the steel framing in various stages, which should help. Here are some:

as well as my own.

That should give you a start. If you have specifics, feel free to ask.
