| I used an extra wet mix of Heatstop 50, very thin skim coat then gently tapped the bricks down into it - purely for leveling. The belt sander idea works very well at smoothing the installed floor bricks, use 40 grit for grinding down the uneven areas and then move up to 80 or 100 grit over the entire floor...you can make it smooth as a baby's ass in about 15 minutes. Just be sure to wear a good dust kask. RT |
