How not to cure refractories.
 
Here is a prototype tandoor oven project I have currently going, I tried to hurry up the curing process and you can see the water and steam rushing out of the sides of the steel drum.
A wood fired oven would have been destroyed by this stage due to the water and steam trying to escape the heat.
