| Only gas for the chain saw, oak is plentiful here and with lots being cleared for construction it has been handy so far. I've got access to some pecan and mesquite so when it dries up and I can get my truck there I'll go get it. Spent some time yesterday building forms for cement that will hold my firewood stand.

| Actually - if all a cord costs in Texas is gas for a chain saw, get the biggest simi you can fit on the roads. We will have more profit selling wood then the American Gangster had. The Nevada connection - makes me smile Les...

| At $3.20 per gallon of gas and mileage at 17mpg I'm not sure that would be a feasible thing to do.

| Les, I'd love to hear if your friend in Auburn has any connections. The last couple times I have got wood, I have been shorted and another time they tried to charge more than what we agreed on. Growing up in Northern Minnesota you could get a cord of wood delivered and stacked for about $35 a cord..I just talked to my mom and that has gone up to about $65. |

| I believe in was in Incline, a Robert Trent Jones course. By the way he designed over a dozen courses in Alabama, part of a teachers retirement investment to encourage tourism. Reasonable priced and a great golf trip.
