The Mafia, or greed in general infiltrated the EVOO market too. (My assumption...please don't send your Uncle Salvatore to get me) Not surprising though. A country roughly the size of California can hardly produce enough EVOO to supply the world, especially when so much of the country is committed to grapes, tomatoes, grains, etc.
