Well, I'm over Pizza, so we had a crack at steak on the hearth.
In one word, bloody beautiful. Rump steak (all the local butcher had left) mushrooms with garlic and ham, and a potato/onion and tomato casseroley thing. Oh, and some sausage rolls for the kids. Next stop is a tuscan grill.
Has anybody tried salt and pepper squid thrown straight on the hearth?
Looks great Worb. Want to try the squid, let us know now it turns out.
