| Am I the only one finding it hard to get out and brave the elements? Its the middle of February and I still have not finished my oven that I started back in September. I got a little bit of work to the external enclosure done this weekend but I still have a ways to go. BTW, did the Groundhog see his shadow? How long till Spring?

| I wondered where you ran off to. Been hiding in the house eh? Me too, other than cooking. The weather hasn't been horribly cold or anything. But sheesh........ the wind is miserable. 35+ many days. Can't stand the wind, but it should quit soon. I'm making my restart time... end of March... hopefully the wind will quit blowing by then. Been doing any cooking? Dave

| i cook almost every weekend...no matter how cold it is!!! im just not getting as much done during the winter as I would have hoped. When we have a good weekend, I try to do as much as I can but its still slow goin... Im trying to source a decent metal roof and get my brother-in-law up here from houston to handle the stucco and the rock veneer around the cinderblocks. Pizza tastes great, but im ready to put a nail in this coffin and move on to another project!!

| Don't know what you guys are complaining about it was 90 and sunny yesterday. It was too hot to mix cement on Sunday so i couldn't finish the insulation layer. Must be a happy medium somewhere, suggestions? cheers |

| Talisker, Thanks for rubbing it in. Malibu would be a perfect place to build, though I doubt they have any firewood left.

| For those of you in Texas, no more wining! Wind is nothing, cold is another. I mean freezing temps is ok for staying inside for some of you, but if the temps is in the 40's, outside you go. Now for Australia, you have 90's all day? Night time too?........ I can't wait till summer when I spin my oven as " back in the day when my oven was built, we had 60+ winds, temps often in 20's to 30's, snow blowing sideways, fingers numb, and a tent poking me.... I am sure the story will get better
