Thank you too much.
As of yesterday,the oven is shut down for a week or so as "further layers" are added.
Actually I was most pleased today when the one-sixteenth inch fibre glass rods worked brilliantly as a free-standing template from which to smooth-out the oven brick profile.. So now that the dome is aesthetically pleasing, (and thus matches my mind. hahaha f'n ha,),I'm free to add 2" of semi conducting "mud", before the ceramic blanket goes on.
