mike, i'm from grand rapids, born 1956..so the Lions have won in my lifetime (1957). my family, all Mich born and raised are Steelers, Patriots, Eagles fans...don't ask me how.. i'm a roofing, siding, window, stone, distributor..if you need help with the slate or flashings, let me know... i poured my hearth on the 16th..we've had 21 days of rain this month. my oven construction is going to have to wait till spring.

I finished the stone work today! I grouted three of the four sides. All I have to do now is the back, then on with the roof! More pics later. My camera battery died.

Thanks, everyone. My wife gets a lot of the credit. She had a great eye for laying out the stone. She'd work ahead of me, numbering them. All I had to do was put them up. She was able to arrange stone for the entire oven with almost no cutting or splitting.
