| maburton, I just called the Defy company and discussed my oven. They concur that the chimney water repellent is the product we need. My photos are posted in the Brick Oven Photo section. They are under the thread called "PizzaJNKY Pompeii build photos. When you click on it, you have to click on the Picassa photo link. For some reason, I can't post full size photos directly on a thread like every one else.

| That is one beautiful oven! I love the overall lines, the brickwork and the way the front & back openings seem to 'lighten' up the whole thing visually, in both senses of the word. Stellar job! |
