Hello all, I am hoping to erect a wood fired oven in the near future. As I am sadly not wealthy, any and all advice would be welcome..
Hopeful:confused::confused:

Welcome Hopeful :)

To minimize costs to you, you will need to take some time and gather building materials as they come available in your local area.

As www.craigslist.org grows in your area, it will be a good place to look, but there isn't much going on there right now. Classified ads, building sites, remodeling projects and word of mouth are all worth a look see to find cheap, sometimes free recycled materials.

Between now and the time you begin, read up on oven plans and make some decisions about oven location and design. Check local building codes and ordinances too. Plan for expansion too. :)
