 Re: Do Ashes Accumulate and Get on Pizza? After pushing the coals back, I brush the hearth then do a quick swab with a wet tea towel wrapped around the end of the brush.  |

| Re: Do Ashes Accumulate and Get on Pizza? I have always brushed the floor with my brass brush then do a quick wipe down with a damp cloth to remove any excess ash. I know some suggest not using the damp cloth, but it is just a preference of mine.
