Looking for a pizza oven after trying pizza from an oven my cousin built.. I dont want the hassle and time of building one and would like a prebuilt.. Wondering.. Will I get the same heat retention from say and Andiamo oven versus a non metal housing one like a Primavera or Toscana? Also, if I do get a larger, heavier oven such as the Toscana, will I be able to lift it up with an engine lift?
Anyone one from FB can correct me here but the metal housing on the Andiamo probably does not significantly increase your heat retention...infact I would venture a guess that you could easily touch the top of the Andiamo while fully fired just like you can touch the top of a Primavera...I think the metal just allows for a sleeker profile rather than heat retention...I used a 2 ton engine lift with a 79 inch reach-up for my Primavera 70 and it worked great.
