| Canned San Marzanos are all well and good but I'm looking forward to some good fresh local tomatoes on a pizza ... just about three more months to go |

| Yeah me too, I think some of our "money makers" will find their way into sauce this year (if they don't get eaten in the greenhouse).

| Sainsburys also sell San Marzano toms in their "Taste the difference" range, probably very similar to Tesco. They also have a label of authenticty on them. I stocked up while I was there this lunchtime. Other then the Nifeislife site, still haven't managed to find Caputo 00 Flour as yet. Has any one found any other brand that may be more readly available in the UK that has been used with any success. I read earlier that mmmhumous used Mcdougals 00 flour, did this turn out OK? I will probably take the plunge and order a 25kg bag from Nifeislife. Regards Fig |

| Fig Man The Tipo 00 flour from Nifeislife has been excellent, I just broke the 25kg bag up into 6-8 airtight containers, 3 in the freezer and the rest in a dark cupboard. Been fine and it does make superb pizza dough. Good Luck RyH |

| Had a look in all of my local (south Manchester and Cheshire) Sainsbury, Tesco, M&S and Waitrose Stores (and online stores). Only San Marzanos I've found were fresh Tesco's Finest ones.

| I got them from Sainbury's in a tin in their taste the difference range. Ask the store or department manager at Sainsbury's to get some in for you, they stock them in other stores and are part of the Sainsbury's own range so should not be a problem. Can you let me know how you get on with the cheese from Nifeislife Good luck with the toms Ry |

Will do, I'll give tesco's a go too. Cheese is pretty good. I ordered the Gorgonzola from Piedmont and the smoked and normal Scamorzine. The scamorzine was interesting (somewhere between mozerella and hulumi in taste and texture) and is great on pizza. The gorgonzola was very good (very ripe).
