Short & fast or long & slow?
I've been wondering if there is any benefit to heating the oven up to temperature nice and slow, as opposed to heating up as quickly as possible.... Any ideas?
Re: Short & fast or long & slow?
I think slower is best when your oven is newer and/or wet. Once it is dry I don't think there is any benefit to being slow. I basically stuff my oven with juniper which is a hot, fast burning wood and it clears in about 45 minutes. It's been five years with no problems.
