Default Dome insulation

Can someone please explain Jame's interpretation to loose vermiculite filled in between the dome (over the insulating blanket) and the exterior walls. I see some people going with the combination vermiculite and concrete mixture for 4-5 inches over the insulating blanket, then loose filling the remainder area with vermiculite. per Jame' PDF, one would just have the insulating blanket, then loose filling with the vermiculite. Is there a need for the vermiculite and concrete mixture?

No need for the concrete/vermiculite layer when inside an enclosure.

I was careful to put some wires over the insulation blanket layers to keep them in place during the vermiculite pour and later in life.

Thank you Christo. Now I need to figure out how to get digital photos of the area I plan to start building onto FB.

Acoma.
