Just try variations with whatever spices you like. I have another version with Tandoori Chicken on it.
Dhansak, however, is a Parsi dish with a couple different types of masala (dhansak and sambar). It has a lentil and vegetable base (ginger, garlic, onions, pumpkin potato, tomatoes, chiles). It gives a nice "stewy" texture to the main curry that the chicken is cooked in. Since the lentils get super tender and just break apart if cooked enough, you can put it on the pizza directly with chunks of lentil, potato, onion, tomato, etc.....or you can scoop some of it into a blender and puree it a little to smooth it out. I prefer it chunky, but knew my wife and kids wouldn't go near it if they could tell what it was

, so I pureed some for their pizzas and even they liked it like that
