Does anyone find that pizza tastes a whole lot better if left to 'rest' for a few minutes (if possible!) before eating it?

I just think that the flavours come out a lot more if you let it sit for just a little bit.

Letting it rest a bit also keeps the screaming hot cheese from removing 2 layers of skin from the roof of your mouth.

Ever try taking a sip of hot coffee the morning after you get a cheese burn?

I agree. The flavors seem to come together over a minute or two out of the oven. And, as Ken suggests, the guests don't scream as much!
