Dome Installation Video - Casa / Premio / Modena

Hello,

For many of you who bought a modular oven, you may have asked how we put the domes together when we build them. For those of you considering one of our ovens, we shot a video to make your install easier.

Check it out on our You Tube Channel.

If the link doesn't work, simply go to You Tube and type Forno Bravo Channel. The video title is How to Set your Forno Bravo Oven Dome Pieces.

Thanks for participating in our Forum. We will have more video content available soon.

  • Expanded vermicrete?

Not sure if I posted this correctly so if this is a repeated post I apologize... I have seen vermicrete here but not an answer to this question: does it matter if the vermicrete is expanded or not (expands at 800 C)? I thought it might add more volume to the vermicrete, but I did not know if it would make it harder to work with...

I don't know for sure, but I think all vermiculite is expanded: it's heat treated to pop it like popcorn. In it's mineral form, as mined, it's pretty dense, but I don't think you can buy it like that.
