Please feel free to ask whatever you would like in regards to the forum; let us know what issues you are experiencing so we can work on resolving them as fast as possible. Dome Installation Video - Casa / Premio / Modena


For many of you who bought a modular oven, you may have asked how we put the domes together when we build them. For those of you considering one of our ovens, we shot a video to make your install easier.

    might be a daft question but I want to build it in my outside bar and have got just the place for it to go but cant accomodate a chimney on top of it.
    wondered if i could let it vent thru the door
    onve the initial smoke has gone im thinking it will be ok

    I'm with Mick here. You can get the fire and cooking done with no problem but it will be a nasty job to do it. Smoke in your eyes is not a fun thing...

      thanks lads, i'll put a chimney out of the side maybe? just ordered the book "your brick oven" so will have a read thru that.

        A "beaver tail" design would allow you to put the chimney entrance at the front of the oven and then curve the flue back over the top of the dome and up from the back;

        [___ )_
        (______ <----oven entrance
        oven floor

        The advantage being that you maintain the pompeii design/thermal heat retention (keep heat in the oven where it belongs) and not up and out the chimney which would occur if you put the chimney entrance at the back. Do some research and you'll find a better description of what I am talking about.
