Dome Installation Video - Casa / Premio / Modena

Hello,

For many of you who bought a modular oven, you may have asked how we put the domes together when we build them. For those of you considering one of our ovens, we shot a video to make your install easier.

Check it out on our You Tube Channel.

  • Ceramic Fiber Blanket,

Hey Everyone, I just bout 100sq of Fiber blanket. Now my questions is. when i construct the dome with the fire bricks and heat stop mortor. can you wrap the fiber blanket directly onto the dome? or do i have to put something between the dome bricks and the fiber blanket? Any help is appreciated. I looked up the building plans, but it's not really clear. I'm assuming i can put it directly on the dome.

    Re: Ceramic Fiber Blanket,

Run it right over the dome. Most use some type of wire to secure it while the stucco is applied or an oven house is built.

    Chris

PS think in terms of heat rising and trying to cap the dome to hold the heat down.
