  • how much perlite needed to insulate 36' dome

I've got to run to the store to purchase perlite to insulate
    my 36 inch dome oven.

How many bags do you think I will need? I'd like to inuslate
    6-8 inches thick.

    Thanks in advance.

I recall using about 3.5 bags of vermiculite for my 42 in. oven.
