  • Granite?

    hi there,
Can anyone tell me if granite is suitable for building a dome oven? Have a free supply of rough football sized peices which i can cut to shape. any good? i would think it would hold heat better than any fire brick.

No to granite vs. firebricks sounds like the answer. Use it for the finish on the oven.

No mate i think you are getting confused. the moon is made from cheese! not as tasty as mozzarella but it will do.
            many thanks.
