    Thought I would start a thread where I got my Heat Stop and Other Stuff to help some of the new guys and gals,,, maybe save them some time and trouble, everybody please add where you got yours

    I got my firebrick and Heat Stop at
    Progressive Brick
    190 Route 17
    North Hasbrouck Heights NJ 07604

    Firebrick was .97cents each and Heat stop was 62.50 per 50 lb bag.

    Many of my tools were purchased from Harbor Freight
    Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

    They have a store locator on their website.

    I bought my HeatStop50 from our local Boral Bricks showroom. They knew what it was and happily ordered it for me (took only 2 days or so). Price was between $70-$80 per bag. Boral has showrooms all over the US:

    THE source for other refractory stuff in Louisville, KY (and surrounding area) is Louisville Firebrick: www.LouisvilleFirebrick.com I highly recommend them for bricks and refractory blanket.
