Hello, Forno Bravo Community Forum members.

As many may have noticed already, the Community Forum site was briefly down today. While working on scheduled routine maintenance, we encountered an error when trying to add a software update. As the site is now back up and running, some of you may notice that some recent data has been misplaced from November 10th up to today. We are currently working on resolving the issue. The forum has full operational capabilities and we encourage all forum members to continue actively posting in the threads.

    I've been lurking on this forum for a while, and downloaded the Pompeii instructions. We're planning on building our oven late spring/early summer next year.

    We already have a cast iron pizza oven, not perfect for the job, but we want to cook FOOOOOOD as well as pizza. Long, slow casseroles and bread as well.

    My sons and I have several volunteers to help us. The worst problem I can see at the moment is that we have no access to the back of the house, so if we hire a cement mixer we will have to run it at the front (the drive slopes, so won't be easy) and barrow it through the garage.

    Have been looking at all the pics of so many beautiful ovens on this site, we have a few ideas for design (keep it simple) but I'm sure they will change over time. We'll definitely be taking lots of pics of progress once we start.

    Oh, and best wishes for Thanksgiving - that's tomorrow, isn't it?
