Photo Galleries are back! Instructions below.

Dear forum users,
Thank you for your patience with the Photo galleries. We've got your galleries online!
We have finished writing a custom script to migrate the PhotoPlog to vBulletin5’s albums.

Unfortunately V-Bulletin killed the "Photoplogs" in their software upgrade which was unforeseen and we're the first development group to have written a script for getting the galleries back... that said, it took some time to reverse engineer the code and get the albums to move over seamlessly!

Forum users will be able to access their “PhotoPlog” images through their user profile page by clicking on the “Media” tab.
They will also be able to browse other albums by going to the albums page. (On the forum site, there is a link in the black bar beside “Forums” to the albums.)

In order for users to create an album please follow the steps below.
1) Go to user profile page and click “Media”
2) Click Add Photos
3) Enter Photo Gallery Title in the first field
4) Click Upload or Select from Photo Album to add photos
5) Click Post
6) Once posted, the album will be created as a “Topic” on the albums page for the public to see. The topic title will be the “Photo Gallery Title” they created before uploading their photos.

To create this migration path we used vBulletin5’s default album structure. Unfortunately, it won’t work like the “PhotoPlog” but is an album/gallery component on the forum now.

  • Starting soon!!

    Hi everyone,
I'm new and this is my first thread. I've been planning on building a 42" pompeii oven since the beginning of this year. It will be the centerpiece for an outdoor kitchen in my backyard. I have been getting ideas from reading different threads and looking at the photos that have been sent in. I have started by first installing the foundation for the kitchen. The next couple of weeks I will finish with the patio pavers and then it will be time to start what I have been waiting for, my first WFO.

      Re: Starting soon!!

Hi and thanks for the welcome. It's funny that you asked about the project because tomorrow (Monday) I will pour the foundation for the pizza oven and I should start having photos to post. I put in a patio that needed to be in before I started on the oven and it took me longer to finish than I thought. And now that has been completed its on to the centerpiece for the outdoor kitchen, the oven.
The one thing I just started doing is looking for medium duty fire bricks and so far I have only found low duty. So tomorrow after the pour I will call a few more building supply stores to see what they have.

      Thanks again,
      Brian

        Re: Starting soon!!

        Brian,

Good to see another person jumping in on their own oven build. I am so glad that I did - as are everyone else here. Take time to look at various builds and comments from the builders after the project.

I commented to a friend about the height of the pizza oven (using 4 blocks high) that I wished I could have built it higher. His comment was that if his was the same height, he could sit down while doing pizzas! One persons troubles is anothers persons solution!

Look forward to seeing the pics!
