1 of 2 < >

Hello, Forno Bravo Community Forum members.

As many may have noticed already, the Community Forum site was briefly down today. While working on scheduled routine maintenance, we encountered an error when trying to add a software update. As the site is now back up and running, some of you may notice that some recent data has been misplaced from November 10th up to today. We are currently working on resolving the issue. The forum has full operational capabilities and we encourage all forum members to continue actively posting in the threads.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this issue may have caused you. The Forno Bravo family values each and every member of our community. If you have any issues or concerns, please feel free to let us know on our issues thread here:

Thank you for understanding.

He was selling ovens and promoting his commercial business, something clearly (and obviously) not allowed.

Our admin have written to him explaining why.

Missed that one. I also respected his comments and help on the forums. I guess I missed where he was competing with Forno Bravo. I do understand why that is not allowed.

Did you guys give him advance notice to stop the promotion of his business on this site and give him a chance to stop?

Any way your house, your rules and I can respect that. Thanks for this forum where we can all learn and share our experiences.

whilst you can understand the no competition rule I am not sure ultimately its a good idea.

FB is the goto place for information now really, a worldwide resource but is not a worldwide seller so there will always be people on the look out for local traders or just good old fashioned advice.

active hawking is one thing so I would expect mods to edit any "adverts" but mentioning you are also sell these things only really strengthens the advice given from that user and ultimately benefits the FB forum and FB as a brand.

Great points and I do agree with you totally.

There is one thing to remember here it's FB's house and FB's rules. To me this is not an unreasonable request.
