Hello, Forno Bravo Community Forum members.

As many may have noticed already, the Community Forum site was briefly down today. While working on scheduled routine maintenance, we encountered an error when trying to add a software update. As the site is now back up and running, some of you may notice that some recent data has been misplaced from November 10th up to today. We are currently working on resolving the issue. The forum has full operational capabilities and we encourage all forum members to continue actively posting in the threads.

    Hello all. I am about to start my first oven build.
    Tomorrow I will lay out the foundation and pour cement
    the next day. It will be a slow build and I am sure I will have many questions. I will take plenty of photos.

    Vince, this is your neighbor. I am at the lake and my friend suggested that I not build the foundation with a cement floor. He suggested I pour the footings and have a gravel bottom. I will be using cement blocks as my base with the front open for wood storage. My husband still thinks I'm crazy and been delaying this project. Any suggestions (not about my sanity), but about the gravel bottom as opposed to a full cement base.
