Computer terms for the WFO

  • Computer terms for the WFO

    Download - get the firewood off the ute
    Floppy disk- result of to much firewood lifting
    Log on- fire up the WFO
    Log off - let the fire die down
    Monitor- keep on eye on the WFO (suitable beverage encouraged)
    Modem- what you do to the grass 20 mins before the guests arrive
    Website- under oven ready use wood stowage

    Fit in position with largest hammer

    Wifi- She who must be obeyed.
    Sync-Where you wash up.
    Upgrade-Your next oven build.
    Download-putting the firewood on the ground.

        Red Ray- Bloke standing too close to the oven.
        File- Storing the firewood.
        Folder-Your back after gathering firewood.
        Ipad- where my oven is.

          Blue ray- cooking when it is below freezing
          Binary- two pizzas in the oven
          Logic- pizza for dinner
          Variable- pizza toppings
          Program- toppings available for tonight's pizza
          SCSI- a dirty pan
          System crash- pizza turned into calzone in oven
          Analog- what your spouse Ana needs you to get done.
          System architecture- the oven design
          Thermal overload- oven to hot
          Bug- not a good pizza topping
          Chip- small piece of wood
          Mother board- an endless supply of kiln dried hardwood.
          Defragmentation- nice orderly stack of firewood
          Fragmentation- pile of uncut un-split firewood
          CPU chiller- beer

              Raster- Jamaican Party Guest.
              Keyboard- Fave wooden peel.
              Array- Praise from the guests about the pizzas.
              Byte- Self explanatory.
              Bit- Pizza that falls on ya lap.
              Basic- White pizza.
              Kernel- Guest from the Army.
              Speaker- Someone who isnt eating pizza.
              Dongle- What you feel like doing to the speaker.
              Hot Boot- When a coal falls in ya boot.

                  Cold Boot - Firing your oven during -15 C weather
                  Syntax Error - Guest who doesn't eat pizza
                  Disc Drive - Pizza Peel
                  Hard Disc - Overcooked Pizza
                  Software - uncooked pizza
                  Hardware - pizza peels, brushes, coal rake
                  Refresh - New bottle of beer
                  laptop - where you eat when there's no room left at the table
                  desktop - where you put your beer when you're using the disc drive
                  Router - Helper who brings pizza's to and from the oven
                  Ctl Alt Del - Pizza dropped on ground - thrown away
                  Username - Pizza Chef
                  Password - Here's your beer
                  Internet - Conversations with guests while cooking pizza
                  Google - An abbreviation for the amount of fun you can have building/owning a WFO
                  Facebook - The look you have after getting too close to the fire - charred eyebrows and sooty face.
                  Yahoo - Guy that flops his pizza on the ground
                  You Tube - Hmmm... I think I'll leave that one alone
