  • Is there a searchable list of members?

In fact, it woul be ideal if it was searchable by geographic location.

Yes, but it's only searchable by name. Check for 'Member List' under 'Quick Links' which is right below your postbit.

ok here's how to do it:

go to the quicklinks menu and then the member list option as Archena said

then on the right there is a link "Search Members" click this and a box will come up.
in that box click the "advanced search" link in the box.

In the location field, type you location, click search.

      all done.

      (btw there are 114 Texans

Hey cool, I didn't know that!

Still only one Swiss person though...

          Frances,
My brother's living over there at the moment and if he wasn't renting an apartment, I'm sure he would have built one by now. he followed my build with great interest and has put an order in for one when he gets back here to Australia.

Ha! just checked your location on google maps.. he lives in Aesch!
that's almost your neighbour by Australian standards..

We just got back from over there, I probably passed you on the street in Basel

Did you enjoy the the fair in October?

            Hi Frances,

We're heading to Switzerland this summer. Our 15 year old daughter will be staying with family friends and speaking only French for 9 days. We (with our second daughter) will be meeting with all of FB's business contacts (and friends) in Italy that week, then we will all meet up for a real family vacation.... somewhere to be determined.

I've been thinking of adding some Google Mapping features to FB.com -- I should get to that. We also need to revive and spiff up the FB Wood Fired Pizzeria map.

France, you'll be the only Swiss pin!

Ha, well waddaya know! Aesch really is close, even by Swiss standards. What's he doing over here? And you for that matter?

Give me a ring next time you're here, I'd love to show off my oven to a fellow FB member.

And James in Switzerland too! It sounds like a busy schedule, but if you can fit a visit to Basel in anywhere, you'd more than welcome...
