Photo Galleries are back! Instructions below.

Dear forum users,
Thank you for your patience with the Photo galleries. We've got your galleries online!
We have finished writing a custom script to migrate the PhotoPlog to vBulletin5’s albums.

Unfortunately V-Bulletin killed the "Photoplogs" in their software upgrade which was unforeseen and we're the first development group to have written a script for getting the galleries back... that said, it took some time to reverse engineer the code and get the albums to move over seamlessly!

Forum users will be able to access their “PhotoPlog” images through their user profile page by clicking on the “Media” tab.
They will also be able to browse other albums by going to the albums page. (On the forum site, there is a link in the black bar beside “Forums” to the albums.)

In order for users to create an album please follow the steps below.
1) Go to user profile page and click “Media”
2) Click Add Photos
3) Enter Photo Gallery Title in the first field
4) Click Upload or Select from Photo Album to add photos
5) Click Post
6) Once posted, the album will be created as a “Topic” on the albums page for the public to see. The topic title will be the “Photo Gallery Title” they created before uploading their photos.

To create this migration path we used vBulletin5’s default album structure. Unfortunately, it won’t work like the “PhotoPlog” but is an album/gallery component on the forum now.

One of the best reasons for joining and getting your cookie is that your computer knows when there are un-read messages in any category.

Not planning to build right away? Even better: I read for more than a year before I picked up a shovel. You learn more that way.

Sometimes I'm one of the "guests". If I just want to quickly see what's going on but really don't have much to say, I sometimes browse the postings without logging in.

There is so much accumulated knowledge in the forum, it's remarkable. Just think how long it would take to browse through all of the 20K+ postings.

As a member, you can search the forums by keywords. I don't think you can do that as a guest.

I joined in October 2007. I am nowhere close to start digging. I love reading the posts and keep getting wonderful ideas for the oven I will build someday. I am so amazed at the creativity and craftmenship in the ovens on this forum. I am lucky enough to have a friend who has a WBO that I can eat the delicious pizzas that come out of it.

Keep up the good work and spread the news about this forum.

I first found this forum in 2005 and didn't join for two years. Everyone has a time and place to begin their adventure. Some just dream....
Everyone makes mistakes. The trick is to make mistakes when nobody is looking.

I've also wonder about that, now there are 7 members and 31 guests looking.
I am automatically logged in and frequent keep a tab with this site open, so I may always be on.
