  • First Pizza Question

    I'm planning on my first pizza coming out of my oven in a few weeks ... fingers crossed... Do I need to prep my fire brick before my first bit of food comes off the floor? Clean it somehow? If I run my hand across the floor I'm still getting that fire brick "dust" on my hand. Is it ok to cook on that as is?

    I would sponge off any obvious brick dust / sludge. Outside of that, a good fire cleans all.
